Socialist Party (India) Lucknow unit has now decided to start community kitchens as we expect the lockdown to extend for some more time. The first one has started today, 4/4/20, in Dubagga by Zeenat, the organisational secretary of Party, and soon we’ll start a few more.

Ismail, a mason from Sultanpur stuck in Lucknow with 3 other family members living in a temporary shelter in Nishatganj and pulses, oil, etc. were provided at a shelter home for homeless in Aishbagh with 12 inmates run by our colleague Sharad Patel.
