NOTICE FROM ASIFNAGAR WARD CONTESTING CANDIDATE DR LUBNA SARWATH ON THE FRAUD OBSERVED IN THE PHOTO VOTER LIST OF 72-ASIFNAGAR WARD GHMC, PURCHASED BY THE CANDIDATE ON 27 NOVEMBER 2020 FROM GHMC FOR Rs. 3,600 IN CASH
I, contesting candidate from Asifnagar ward in GHMC 2020 ordinary elections had purchased the voter list of Asifnagar ward on 27 November 2020 from GHMC office KHAIRATABAD by paying Rs. 3600 in cash.
Photo voter list of two polling stations viz., PS-1 Government High School, H. No. 12-1-331/141, Dattatreyanagar Colony, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad, Room No. 8; and PS-15, New Pupils High School, EM H.No. 12-1-486/12/13, Asif Nagar, Hyderabad, Room No. 5, have been looked into for possible duplicates.
A. On preliminary checking itself, it has been observed that PS-1 has 23 duplicates and 2 triplicates. amd PS-15 contains 51 duplicates and 2 quadruplicates.
Given below are the serial numbers where fraud is observed as follows (due to lack of time and not slept, handwritten is appended).
Below appended is PS-1 list containing 23 duplicates and 2 triplicates identified during preliminary observation:
Below appended is PS-15 list containing 51 duplicates and 2 quadruplicates identified during preliminary observation:
I would like to make it clear that this is just a cursory observation that has thrown up these fraudulent voter IDs in the two lists.
There are 61 polling stations in Asif Nagar ward totalling around 51,000 voters.
Conclusion from this first observation is that the officially declared voter list through which we choose the destiny of the GHMC wards for 5 years is bloated and fraudulent.
Is this not a treachery on the GHMC citizens? What an indignity to the GHMC citizen who toils and fills the tax coffers?
With all the state machinery at its disposal including hard and soft technology and staff, government could not give its citizens a purified and authentic voter list.
How can the outcome result of the candidate be declared as correct with such fraudulent voter list that has in fact been allowed to be so? June 2014 to November 2020 was not sufficient to give us a authenticate and purified voter list?
What was the hurry to roll out elections on such fraudulent voter list?
Of course, I shall put my election campaign aside and assure to assist the State Election Commission by rolling out the frauds in the remaining 59 polling stations of Asif Nagar voter list within a day or two.
I also urge the suo moto cognizance of Hyderabad High Court in the deceit done by the State Election Commission and government of Telangana towards the GHMC citizens, that is unforgivable.
B. Secondly, while the above is just about preliminary observational fraud, how can susceptibility of this voter list, to other frauds, such as deletions of genuine voters, non-deletions of deceased, shifted, locked, disqualified voters, be ruled out?
Hence, I urge that the GHMC ward election to Asif Nagar ward be cancelled immediately, fresh voter list under de novo process be prepared for Asifnagar ward, and subsequently date of election for Asifnagar ward be announced.
A time frame must be announced for the above process.
Await prompt response from State Election Commission, Telangana.
Best,
Dr Lubna Sarwath
