We have been receiving in the hum-hyderabadi Google Group emails from Prof Parveen Sultana, aged around 70, complaints with documents containing her complaints/representations addressed to police officials to have the GO 172 and High Court orders implemented regarding the noise pollution and protection to the senior citizen, resident at Sun City, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad.
We understand that contrary to orders there is noise pollution more than 55 decibel counts during day time and more than 45 db during night time at her house, and she has been requesting for implementation of the same.
We also understand that she has not been able to sleep for days/weeks due to persistence in noise pollution thus affecting her health and work.
New complaints have emerged in her latest post to the group, that her house being filled with poisonous smoke and the way to her house is blocked, so much so that service providers to her house are unable to reach her and she herself has to walk to an extent from her house for any hired cab/auto, Uber/Ola services.
CP garu, she has also named constables and that she has reached out to SHO Rajendranagar as well umpteen times.
My mother who is around 76 and well-versed in Telugu listens to your programs on All India Radio. While your reach out is appreciable we expect your cadre’s prompt services to address a senior citizen’s prof Parveen Sultana’s grievance. All that she has asked is implement the decibel count GO order and High Court order to give her protection. We expect the she team to respond very immediately with due respect to our city’s woman senior citizen.
We also copy this to the Telangana State Women’s Commission urging them to redress the grievance of the senior citizen.
