The one-day meeting, presided over by Bhai Vaidya and attended by Pannalal Surana, Dr. Sandeep Pandey, S. Nurul Ameen, S. Rajshekharan Nair, Dr. Abhijit Vaidya, Varsha Gupte and Dr. Prem Singh, started at 10 am discussing the agenda given below:
1. Formation of a national committee for preparations of the 3rd National Convention to be held in Uttar Pradesh in May 2015.
2. Discussion about the new team of national office bearers which will assume office in May 2015.
3. Welcome and work profile of newly appointed Organization Secretary of the party Sathi Faisal Khan.
4. Formation of the state units in the remaining states.
5. Appointing in-charges of the states.
6. Agenda for the next national executive meeting to be held in Dima Pur in Feb. 2015.
Following decisions were taken in the meeting:
1. The 3rd National Convention of the party will be held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, on 16-17 May, 2015. A national committee, comprising all national vice presidents, general secretaries, organization secretary, Rajshekharan Nair and Girish Kumar Pandey has been formed for the preparations of the convention.
2. Presidents of certain states would be inducted in the new team of national office bearers. A formal request was made to veteran party leader Pannalal Surana to head the party at least for one term after Bhai Vaidya retires in May 2015. He, however, emphasized for young faces in the new team.
3. The party will celebrate Acharya Narendra Deva’s 125th birth anniversary which starts on 31 October 2014. Apart from other programs, 3 training camps for the party cadres will be organized
in different regions of the country to mark the occasion. A committee of 5 members – Anil Nauriya (convener), Dr. Abhijit Vaidya, George Jacob, Dr. Sumit Soraw and Dr. Sandeep Pandey – is formed for this purpose. The committee may induct more members as the requirement arises.
4. In order to strengthen the party organization at least 5 active local district/tehsil units of the party should be formed in every state immediately with a goal of 50 such active units at the national level in a year.
5. The party will hold a nation-wide Election Reform Campaign, particularly in colleges and universities, in the guidance of Pannalal Surana. One lakh signatures collected during this
campaign will be submitted to the President of India on 9 August (the Quit India Day) 2015.
6. Party’s ongoing campaign for free, equal and quality education from KG to PG will be re-strengthened with a signature campaign. One lakh signatures will be submitted to the President of India on 5 September (Teachers’ Day) 2015.
