Report on National Executive Committee Meeting Held on 14th February, 2021

In the meeting of National Committee held on 14/02/2021 at Okhala, under Pannalal Surana’s Presidentship, the following resolutions were passed:

1. Condemning the harassment tactics of Modi government and supporting the demands of the Kisan Sangharsh Samity

2. Condeming the military leadership of Myanmar for throttling the democratic rule there, asking for release of Aung San Suu Kyi and her party members and demanding restoring democratic setup.

3. Condemning tortuous acts like lynching of minority traders and common  people to impose majoritarian rule on the minorities and appealing the people,  particularly the youths to maintain communal harmony to safeguard National Unity and democratic setup of our Republic.

4. Recording strong protest  against the statement of FM Nirmala Sitaraman to the effect that her budget has ‘thrown away shackles of Socialism’ which amounts to betrayal of our  Constitution whose preamble contains the value of socialism alongwith  secularism and democracy.

5. Demanding:

(i) Legalizing MSP and making  arrangement to purchase all agricultural produce brought by the farmers.

(ii) Scrapping four labour codes of Modi government and making laws guaranting  minimum wages, permanent service, sickness and maternity allowances, and the right to agitate peacefully. 

Organisational Decisions:

1. It is decided to close down party account with Allahabad bank, Hyderabad and authorising Sandeep Pandey, vice-president and Babu Mohammad Atiq, treasurer to open and operate bank account at Lucknow, 

2. Hold bi-annual meeting of National Coucil in Kerala in April-May 2021.

3. As per letter from Shri Neeraj Singh, Abhyudav Pratap Singh elected  president of SYS. 

4. Every N.C. member to deposit Rs 100 per month in party account and ask details from Sandeep Pandey.

It is heartening to note that in a meeting with prominent members of Muslim  Majlis Mashavarat, free exchange of views about current events in the  country was held and it emerged that more and more dialogues be held at  different places and cooperate with each other for promoting healthy political processes for consolidating democratic forces.
