Minutes: (1) Adv. Thampan Thomas, in his presidential remarks, empahsised building of party from grassroots so that other political parties recognize it. We’ve to take up the issue of Adani’s corruption in nexus with government and hold public demonstrations. No other parties are serious about it because they benefit from him. In next election the opposition should try to put up one candidate against BJP candidates. Muslims are drifting from traditional secular parties.  Socialist Party (India) should provide them a platform.

(2) Minutes of 10 December national committee meeting at New Delhi and 15 January national committee office bearers meeting at Aluva, Kochi were circulated and approved.

(3) As part of action taken Shyam Gambhir said he’ll report in the next meeting about the suggestions to modifications to the Party Constitution.

(4) It was decided that Shyam Gambhir will go to Kolakata to meet both groups associated with Socialist Party (India) there and resolve the outstanding issue so that party unit starts functioning properly there. He also  mentioned that agenda should be circulated at least 21 days in advance.

(5) Shyam Gambhir suggested that somebody on behalf of party should be in regular touch with national committee members. He was given the responsibility for this.

(6) S. Nurul Amin should write letters to committee members who are not attending meetings.

(7) All national office bearers should contribute Rs. 1000 and national committee members should contribte Rs. 500 monthly.

(8) Rachcha Sbhadra Reddy, President, SP(I), in her report on activities in Telangana, mentioned that two dharnas were organized on implementation of section 12(1)(c) of RTE Act and on the release of convicts in Biliks Bano case. Hindu Muslim Ekta Samiti meeting was held on 11 February in Lamakaan and another meeting on 12 March on Why Socialism. Professor Naresh Sharma is the convenor of Hindu Muslim Ekta Samiti in Telangana. Adv. Raghu Kumar joined the party. SP(I) will contest all 119 seats in Telangana state.

(9) Balraj Nangal from Punjab reported that a delegation from India went to Kartarpur for strengthening peace and friendship at people to people level between India and Pakistan on 28 February. Punjab is also witnessing problem of stray cattle.

(10) ThanjaiIlansingam reported that a Socialist Conclave is being held in Madurai on 20 March and then a state committee meeting along with national committee meeting will be held on 28-29 May, 2023. The TN committee organizes protests on price rise, etc.

(11) Manoj Sarang reported that in Kerala meeting are held every month – physical or online. Birth centenary of 2 Kerala leaders Arangil Sreedharan and K.A. Srirama Bharati were organized in 5 districts. Socialist Kisan Sabha state convention was held with M.C. Kuriakose as President.  Prograames on birth centenary of Madhu Dandvate and Madhu Limaye will be organized in coming days. Tushar Gandhi was awarded Thampan Thomas award at Aluva on 15 January. Meeings of national committee members should be held at least once a month online. Manoj Sarang was given this responsibility on behalf of the party.

(12) Tahseen Ahmad reported participation of Socialist Party (India) in 26 to 30 January from Palwal to New Delhi padyatra against communalism and capitalism. Fact finding committee went to investigate the murder of Junaid and Naseer in Haryana.

(13) Vijayendra reported about the bhaujan movement going on in Bihar to demand caste based census.

(14) Surekha Adam reported SP(I) is campaigning to demand justice for families of Narendra Dabholkar and Govind Pansare in Maharashtra.

(15) AppasahabYaranal reported party took up cleaning of river programme and atrocities against Dalits in Karnataka.

(16) Michael Fernandes suggested that SP(I) should declare that at least 33% candidates should be women and this percentage should be increased to 50%. He also informed that N.S. Devaravar will be the working president of party in Karnataka.

(17) Amita Buch reported about organization of campaign on Bilkis Bano issue in Gujarat.

(18) Ramswaroop Mantri sent a report. SP(I) wants to contest 5-7 seats in upcoming M.P. assembly elections. Rajkumar Nageshwar is incharge for Mahakoshal, Ajay Khare for Vindhya, Durgesh Khawase for Nimad, Kamlesh Parmar for Ujjain, Dinesh Singh Kushwaha for Chambal and Ramswaroop Mantri is himself expanding party’s bas e in Malwa. He is of the opinion that there should be only 1-2 national meetings per year as it becomes expensive to travel.

(19) Sandeep Pandey reported about movement on stray cattle in U.P. and formation of district level committees in Lucknow, Unnao and Hardoi.

(20) Thampan Thomas said that we should not put up candidates only for the sake of putting up candidates. We should not divide the anti-BJP votes. The decision on candidates should be left to state committee.

(21) Shyam Gambhir offered his place to set up national office of SP(I) in Delhi from where party office used to run earlier. He suggested that Rs. 20,000 be arranged for running this office. It was decided that the office would be inaugurated in April. It has basic furniture and a computer.

(22) A committee of Shyam Gambhir, S. Nurul Amin, Dr. Shuchita Kumar and Tahseen Ahmad was formed to look into the possibility of establishing a Trust to take care of the requirement of building for party office.

(23) It was decided that just as Nurul Amin has taken responsibility for south India, Hairnder Manshahia should take responsibility for establishing party units in J&K, Himanchal Pradesh and Haryana.

(24) Shaym Gambhir suggested that Rambabu Agarwal be given responsibility for establishing party units in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

(25) Sandeep Pandey suggested the formation of a Green Party within Socialist Party (India). However, it was suggested that this activity should continue in the name of Eco-Socialist Front without building a parallel structure. It should just continue as a front oranisation just like Mahila Sabha, Yuvjan Sabha, etc.

कार्यवृतः (1) अपने अध्यक्षीय भाषण में थम्पन थॉमस ने कहा कि सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) को जमीनी स्तर से खड़ा करना पडे़गा ताकि अन्य दल उसे सम्मान दें। उन्होंने कहा कि पार्टी को गौतम अडाणी की सरकार से मिलीभगत करके भ्रष्टाचार के मुद्दे पर सड़क पर प्रदर्शन करने चाहिए। सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) ऐसा कर पाएगी लेकिन जिन दलों ने अडाणी से पैसा लिया होगा वे इसको गम्भीरता से नहीं लेंगे। अगले चुनाव में कोशिश होनी चाहिए कि भाजपा के उम्मीदवार के खिलाफ विपक्ष का एक ही उम्मीदवार खड़ा हो। मुसलमान पारम्परिक धर्मनिर्पेक्ष दलों से अलग हो रहे हैं। सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) को अपना मंच उनको उपलब्ध कराना चाहिए।

(2) 10 दिसम्बर की दिल्ली की राष्ट्रीय समिति की बैठक व 15 जनवरी को अलुवा, कोच्चि में राष्ट्रीय पदाधिकारियों की बैठक के कार्यवृत्त उपस्थित लोगों को वितरित किए गए व मंजूर किए गए।

(3) श्याम गम्भीर ने पिछली बैठक में लिए गए निर्णय के अनुसार संविधान में बदलाव विषय पर अपने सुझाव अगली बैठक में रखने का प्रस्ताव रखा।

(7) यह निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रत्येक राष्ट्रीय समिति के पदाधिकारी रु. 1,000 प्रति माह व प्रत्येक सदस्य रु. 500 प्रति माह सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) के खाते में योगदान करें।
(8) राछा सुभद्रा रेड्डी ने बताया कि हैदराबाद में दो धरने आयोजित हुए। एक शिक्षा के अधिकार अधिनियम की धारा 12(1)(ग) को लागू कराने के लिए और दूसरा बिलकिस बानो के बलात्कारियों को छोड़ने के मुद्दे पर। 11 फरवरी को ला-मकान में हिन्दू मुस्लिम एकता समिति की बैठक हुई व 12 मार्च को ‘समाजवाद क्यों‘ विषय पर। प्रोफेसर नरेश शर्मा को हिन्दू मुस्लिम एकता समिति का समन्वयक बनाया गया और एडवोकेट रघु कुमार पार्टी में शामिल हुए। अगले चुनाव में पार्टी सभी 119 विधान सभा क्षेत्रों से चुनाव लड़ेगी।
(9) पंजाब से बलराज नंगल ने बताया कि एक भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमण्डल 28 फरवरी को भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच दोस्ती व शांति मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से करतारपुर गुरुद्वारे गया। पंजाब में भी खुले पशुओं की समस्या से किसान परेशान है।
(10) थनजैया इलानसिंहम ने बताया कि 20 मार्च को मदुरै में एक समाजवादी समागम होने जा रहा है और 28-29 मई को चेन्नई में तमिल नाडू राज्य समिति व राष्ट्रीय समिति की बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी। तमिल नाडू में बढ़ती कीमतों आदि के मुद्दों पर प्रदर्शन होते रहते हैं।
(11) मनोज सारंग ने बताया कि केरल में हरेक माह, कभी-कभी आनॅलाइन, बैठक होती है। पांच जिलों में केरल के दो नेताओं अरंगिल श्रीधरन व के.ए. श्रीराम भारती के जन्म शताब्दी वर्ष पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित हुए। एम.सी. कुरिआकोस की अध्यक्षता में केरल के सोशलिस्ट किसान सभा का भी सम्मेलन हुआ। मधु लिमये व मधु दण्डवते के जन्म शताब्दी वर्ष पर आने वाले दिनों में कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। तुषार गांधी को अलुवा में 15 जनवरी को थम्पन थॉमस फाउण्डेशन की ओर से एक लाख रुपए का पुरस्कार दिया गया। मनोज सारंग का सुझाव था कि हरेक माह राष्ट्रीय समिति की बैठक ऑनलाइन की जाए। मनोज सारंग को पार्टी की ओर से यह जिम्मेदारी दी गई।
(12) तहसीन अहमद ने बताया के सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) ने 26 से 30 जनवरी साम्प्रदायिकता व पूंजीवाद के विरोध में पलवल से नई दिल्ली पदयात्रा में भाग लिया। जुनैद व नसीर की हत्या के मामले में सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) ने तथ्यपरक जांच के लिए एक दल हरियाणा भेजा।
(13) विजेन्द्र ने बताया कि बिहार में जाति आधारित जनगणना की मांग को लेकर बहुजन आंदोलन चल रहा है।
(14) सुरेखा आदम ने बताया कि महाराष्ट्र में नरेन्द्र दाभोलकर व गोविंद पंसारे के परिवारों को न्याय दिलाने के आदोलन में सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) की भागीदारी है।
(15) अप्पासाहब यरनाल ने बताया कि पार्टी कर्नाटक में नदी सफाई आंदोलन व दलितों पर अत्याचार के विरुद्ध आंदालन में शामिल रही है।
(16) माइकिल फर्नानडिस ने सुझाव दिया कि पार्टी चुनावों में 33 प्रतिशत महिलाओं को लड़ने का मौका दे और धीरे-धीरे उसे बढ़ाकर 50 प्रतिशत करे। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि एन.एस. देवारावर अब कर्नाटक में पार्टी के कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष के रूप में काम करेंगे।
(17) अमिता बुच ने गुजरात में बिलकिस बानो को लेकर चलाए गए अभियान के बारे में बताया।
(18) रामस्वरूप मंत्री ने मध्य प्रदेश की आख्या भेजी। म.प्र. के आने वाले विधान सभा चुनाव में पार्टी 5-7 क्षेत्रों में चुनाव लड़ने पर विचार कर रही है। राजकुमार नागेश्वर महाकौशल में, अजय खरे विंध्य में, दुर्गेश खवसे निमाड़ में, कमलेश परमार उज्जैन में, दिनेश सिंह कुशवाहा चम्बल में व रामस्वरूप मंत्री खुद मालवा में पार्टी के विस्तार में लगे हैं। उनकी राय में आने-जाने के खर्च को देखते हुए वर्ष में राष्ट्रीय समिति की 1-2 बैठकें ही होनी चाहिए।
(19) संदीप पाण्डेय ने उत्तर प्रदेश में खुले पशओं को लेकर चल रहे अभियान के बारे में बताया और यह भी सूचना दी कि लखनऊ, उन्नाव व हरदोई में जिला समितियों का गठन हो गया है।
(20) थम्पन थॉमस ने कहा कि सिर्फ चुनाव में खड़ा करने के लिए उम्मीदवार खड़े नहीं करने चाहिए। हमें ध्यान रखना है कि हम धर्मनिर्पेक्ष मतों का विभाजन न करें। कर्नाटक में होने वाले चुनाव में उम्मीदवारों का निर्णय राज्य समिति पर छोड़ दिया जाना चाहिए।
(21) श्याम गम्भीर ने दिल्ली स्थित अपने आवास पर पार्टी का राष्ट्रीय कार्यालय खोलने की पेशकश की जो पहले भी वहां से चला करता था। इसके लिए उन्होंने सुझाव रखा कि प्रति माह रु. 20,000 का इंतजाम करना होगा। यह तय हुआ कि अप्रैल में इस कार्यालय का उद्घाटन किया जाए। कार्यालय में कुछ मेज कुर्सी व एक कम्प्यूटर मौजूद है।
(22) श्याम गम्भीर, शेख नुरुल अमीन, डॉ. शुचिता कुमार व तहसीन अहमद की एक समिति को यह जिम्मेदारी दी गई कि वह एक ट्रस्ट के गठन पर विचार करे जो पार्टी के लिय कार्यालय हेतु एक भवन बनवा सके।
(23) यह तय हुआ कि जिस तरह नुरुल अमीन ने दक्षिण भारत के राज्यों की जिम्मेदारी ली है उसी तरह हरिंदर सिंह मनशाहिया जम्मू व कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश, हरियाणा में सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) की इकाइयों के गठन की जिम्मेदारी लें।
(24) श्याम गम्भीर ने सुझाव दिया कि रामबाबू अग्रवाल को राजस्थान व छत्तीसगढ़ में पार्टी की इकाइयों के गठन की जिम्मेदारी दी जाए।
(25) संदीप पाण्डेय ने सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) के अंदर एक हरित पार्टी के निर्माण की बात रखी। लकिन यह तय हुआ कि फिलहाल इस गतिविधि को इको-सोशलिस्ट मंच के नाम से ही चलाया जाए। एक अन्य समानांतर ढांचा न खड़ा किया जाए। जिस तरह महिला सभा, युवजन सभा पार्टी के संगठन हैं उसी तरह इको-सोशलिस्ट मंच भी काम करे।

(5) श्याम गम्भीर ने सुझाव दिया कि पार्टी की तरफ से किसी को राष्ट्रीय समिति के सदस्यों से लगातार सम्पर्क में रहना चाहिए। पार्टी की तरफ यह जिम्मेदारी उन्हें देने का निर्णय लिया गया।

(6) शेख नुरुल अमीन को यह जिम्मेदारी दी गई कि राष्ट्रीय समिति के जो सदस्य बैठकों में नहीं आ रहे हैं वे उन्हें पत्र लिखें।

(7) यह निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रत्येक राष्ट्रीय समिति के पदाधिकारी रु. 1,000 प्रति माह व प्रत्येक सदस्य रु. 500 प्रति माह सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इण्डिया) के खाते में योगदान करें।

(8) राछा सुभद्रा रेड्डी ने बताया कि हैदराबाद में दो धरने आयोजित हुए। एक शिक्षा के अधिकार अधिनियम की धारा 12(1)(ग) को लागू कराने के लिए और दूसरा बिलकिस बानो के बलात्कारियों को छोड़ने के मुद्दे पर। 11 फरवरी को ला-मकान में हिन्दू मुस्लिम एकता समिति की बैठक हुई व 12 मार्च को ‘समाजवाद क्यों‘ विषय पर। प्रोफेसर नरेश शर्मा को हिन्दू मुस्लिम एकता समिति का समन्वयक बनाया गया और एडवोकेट रघु कुमार पार्टी में शामिल हुए। अगले चुनाव में पार्टी सभी 119 विधान सभा क्षेत्रों से चुनाव लड़ेगी।

(9) पंजाब से बलराज नंगल ने बताया कि एक भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमण्डल 28 फरवरी को भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच दोस्ती व शांति मजबूत करने के उद्देश्य से करतारपुर गुरुद्वारे गया। पंजाब में भी खुले पशुओं की समस्या से किसान परेशान है।

(10) थनजैया इलानसिंहम ने बताया कि 20 मार्च को मदुरै में एक समाजवादी समागम होने जा रहा है और 28-29 मई को चेन्नई में तमिल नाडू राज्य समिति व राष्ट्रीय समिति की बैठक आयोजित की जाएगी। तमिल नाडू में बढ़ती कीमतों आदि के मुद्दों पर प्रदर्शन होते रहते हैं।
