We find an unpardonable dereliction of duty in the issuance of FTL boundary maps of the Osman Sagar Drinking water reservoir.
The area of Osman Sagar is reduced by acres 296.38 guntas as indicated in the areas of FTL boundary between the ‘TOPOGRAPHICAL MAP OF OSMANSAGAR RESERVOIR R.R(D) A.P.’ dated 18 June 2013, ISSUED BY HMWSSB, ‘Area FTL+1790 feet Acres 6335-38 Guntas’ and, ‘MAP OF COORDINATE POINTS OF TOPOGRAPHICAL SHEET OF OSMNSAGAR RESERVOIR R.R(D)’ ‘Area FTL +1790 feet Acres 6039.00 Guntas’ dated 4 Dec 2019 FROM HMDA WEBSITE.
We expect you to re-notify the FTL boundary map within 3 days as confirm through reply email.
We have on record your contradictory statements, that, while replying to us on 5 Nov 2020 Director Technical HMWSSB cites ‘sensitive nature’ and ‘subjudice’ as reasons for not giving geo-coordinates of Osman Sagar FTL boundary and issues a reductionist area of Osman Sagar by acres 296.38 guntas on 4 Dec 2019 and notified on HMDA website on 30 Dec 2019:
Your omissions and commissions and non-application of mind in the case of basic data maintenance such as notification of FTL boundary of our Hyderabad’s drinking water reservoir in spite of our repeated follow-ups since 17 July 2014 as evidenced from the email appended below has been taken note of and shall be followed up as per the due procedure.
