Veteran Socialist Leader Justice Sachar Passed Away
Veteran socialist, former chief justice of Delhi High Court and founder member of the Socialist party (India) Justice Rajindar Sachar passed away in Delhi todayat the age of 94. Dr. Prem Singh, president, Socialist Party (India) said that ‘Passing away of Sachar Saheb is an enormous loss to the socialist movement and the nation. The Socialist Party will carry forward the legacy of Sachar Saheb.’ Dr Abhijit Vaidya, spokesperson of the party, said that ‘Socialist movement has lost another doyen of socialism after Bhai Vaidya by loosing Justice Sachar within two weeks. The Socialist Party has lost its two pillars.’
The SPI has organized a condolence meeting in memory of Justice Sachar in Gandhi Peace Foundation on 22 April 2018 at 5.30 pm.
