Dear Chief Justice at Hyderabad High Court,

Sub: PS-75, 7 december 2018 Election Day complaint against MLA Janab Kausar Mohiddin(then contestant) from Dr Lubna Sarwath(then co-candidate)

MIM MLA Kausar Mohiddin, barges into PS-75 of Karwan Assembly Constituency alongwith group of more than dozen people, on 7 december 2018 and threatens Presiding Officer and co-candidate not to quote rules. His gang member also threatens co-candidate Dr Lubna sarwath that it will not be good for me if i keep quoting rules;

Ref:1) High Court order of 6 december 2018 regarding free and fair elections in Old City areas; 2) My representations to election officials and police officials from 7 december 2018 to 14 march 2019 on the subject line;

1- I urge you to kindly peruse the attached representations made since election day 7 december 2018 till 14 March 2019, by various modes of communication available to all the concerned election officials and law and order officials. In spite of repeated reminders justice has not been rendered and law not been upheld.

I have never played gender or minority card. Only asked for rule of law and order of Court and natural principles of justice to be upheld and equally applied.
But officials do not seem to be spurred towards their bounden duty. This bodes bad for adult franchise the bedrock of our hard earned freedom and democracy.

2- Also attached is the High Court Order of 6 december 2018 regarding free and fair polling on 7 december 2018 in Old City Areas, delivered with great concern from your esteemed office.

I once again appeal for justice and upholding of law with reference to my complaint, which has not been rendered thus far.

I can submit hard copies of all representations and RTIs at your office. I look forward to you taking up this case tomorrow itself i.e., 18th March 2019.

best,

Dr Lubna Sarwath,
Telangana State General Secretary & Spokes Person, Socialist Party (India)
Contested candidate for Karwan MLA, Telangana Assembly December 2018
