Invitation – Camp on Socialism

- Does the death of Inder Meghwal, a Dalit student beaten for touching a water pot, horrify you?
- From the lynching of Junaid to the brutal episode of Bilkis Bano, do you feel our nation has lost its peace and harmony?
- Do you want to change this terrible situation?
- Do you envision a just and equitable society based on peace and harmony?
If your answer to any of the questions above is yes, then join us for a workshop on socialism and be part of the change.
What? Understanding Socialism in the Indian Context
Why Join Us? In this camp we will try to understand the broad ideological framework of socialism, so that it can be used to build a society based on justice and equality. We will also learn to use the lenses of caste, class, gender, religion to understand our problems.
When: 24 to 28th June, 2024
Where? School for Socialism, Yusuf Meherally Centre, Kandikhal, near Kempty Fall, Musoorie, Uttarakhand
Resource Persons: Senior socialist thinkers, professors and social workers will join this camp as resource persons, like Prof. Anand Kumar, Prof. Hanumantha, Prof. Ajit Jha, Dr. Sunilam, Bhanwar Meghwanshi, Dr. Sujatha Suryapalli, Advocate Anil Nauria, Abhay Kumar, Dipankar, Dr. Ram Puniyani, Faisal Khan, I.D. Khajuria, Randhir Gautam and other friends.
