When we visit Moosi Nadi and its banks this time we will not find Ashfaq bhai and we cannot call him. This morning he passed away. What he left for us is his innocent smiling face and active disposition. He was bold and firm against any form of injustice. His way to get along with people from across all walks of life irrespective of religion, region, age was exemplary. He had a universal love for one and all.
He was one of the participants on 29 Sep 2018 for the 100th day fasting of Swami Sanand for Clean Ganga (Dr GD Agarwal, the first chairman of Central Pollution Control Board). Socialist Party (India) Telangana had initiated at hyderabad when we fasted along with Swami Sannd , who was fasting at Matri Sadan on bank of Ganga nadi, Ashfaq bhai and Bilal were the ones who decided the place of fasting on banks of moosi nadi inside the compound of temple adjacent to temple wall. They had made all the arrangements. Thus strength of cause was all that mattered to Ashfaq bhai.
Paying tribute to him is to strive for clean , unhindered and unencroached Moosi nadi and for Housing rights of one and all. May his abode be peaceful. May his family members have patience to bear this grief. We join with all those who grieve and call upon everyone to collectively stand up for Moosi nadi against its annihilation by laying of roads inside moosi nadi.
