सम्मेलन शुरू होने के पहले परमंडल स्थित शहीद स्तंभ पर श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। श्रद्धांजलि सभा को संबोधित करते हुए वक्ताओं ने किसान संघर्ष समिति के संस्थापक, प्रदेशअध्यक्ष टंटी चौधरी जी को याद किया, जिन्होंने परमंडल गांव में 23 वर्ष पहले किसान संघर्ष समिति की शुरुआत की थी ।
