AYODHYA TO LUCKNOW, 12 TO 17 OCTOBER, 2014
Acharya Yugal Kishore Sharan Shashtri has fought communalism from a place which has been at the centre of a controversy. In this endeavour he has also had to go to jail and effort has been made to dethrone him from the temple that he manages in Ayodhya. He has valiantly fought and represents the segment of society which has been at the receiving end of communal politics. That he is supported by followers of Kabir shows that he stands for communal harmony.
Shashtri ji has undertaken numerous yatras for communal harmony in the past. His next yatra is going to cover about 400 km starting at Ayodhya on 12 October, 2014, and traversing the route Basti-Akbarpur-Sultanpur-Barabanki. The yatra will end in Lucknow on 17 October, 2014.
The yatra will cost about Rs. One lakh to be taken out. This is an appeal for financial contributions to support his endeavour.
