For the last 15 days, the Socialist Yuvjan Sabha has been carrying out flood relief work in Chhapra district of Bihar under the direction of SP(I) President Pannalal Surana. We have distributed 243 tarpaulin sheets and 410 affected families are being given two meals a day. Milk and biscuits are being distributed to children and fodder is being arranged for cattle. We have an immediate need for 40 more tarpaulin sheets. One sheet costs Rs. 640. We would be grateful for any monetary support we can receive from SP(I) members and supporters.
