Dear Mukesh bhai,
There was a complaint against Fair Price Shop owner of Gram Sabha Lalamau Mawai, Tehsil Sandila, Dist. Hardoi, Raj Kishore Gautam by villagers Ashique w/o Ram Milan, Jagdish s/o Ram Kishun, Ramadhar s/o Ram Lal, Urmila w/o Haripal, etc. on following counts.
1. The FPS owner’s wife Sarita w/o Raj Kishore Gautam possesses a Prioity ration card but after the death of Antyodaya card owner Sundara w/o late Fakire, Raj Kishore Gautam got a Antyodaya card made in the name of his mother Chandrakali w/o Ramnath, who gets pension on behalf of her husband, who retired from the government service as a Group D employee. After the complaint this Antyodaya card has been suppressed.
2. The FPS owner used to charge Rs. 15 per unit instead of Rs. 12 from Priority ration card holders.
3. He used to under-weigh the food grains.
4. In the name of preparing list of job card holders for getting them the benefit of Rs. 1000 relief amount during coronavirus lockdown he collected Rs. 10 from everybody/
5. When distributing new ration cards he collected Rs. 30 from everybody.
6. He threatens people with registration of case under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act whenever somebody makes a complaint against him.
7. Husband of Gram Pradhan, Satya Prakash defends FPS owner by claiming that he has number of expenses such as transportation and also that he doesn’t get his full quota of ration justifying the under-weighing and collection of illegitimate money by FPS owner.
There was an enquiry conducted by Diwakar Pratap Singh, Supply Inspector from Sandial tehsil on 20 April, 2020, in which 32 statements confirming corruption of FPS owner were recorded. In addition 10-12 people gave a written memorandum on the spot with their signatures. However, the FPS owner has merely been issued a show cause notice.
Kindly ensure strict action against the FPS owner if he has been found guilty of abovementioned or other discrepancies.
