The manager of City Montessori School, Jagdish Gandhi got a letter addresses to me published in at least big five newspapers of Lucknow city on 21 July, 2015. He had already handed over this letter to me on 17 July, 2015 at my home after I broke my fast a day earlier. As I had already read the letter I don’t know for whom was it published in the newspapers? There is a case going on in High Court, Lucknow Bench in which CMS is the petitioner.
The matter pertains to the order of Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Lucknow for admission of 31 children to the Indira Nagar branch of CMS, which is being opposed by CMS. I had sat on a seven day fast to convince Jagdish Gandhi to admit these students. Although, the fast has ended, the admissions have still not taken place. As the BSA has filed a report to the court that there is space available in the said branch of CMS, we hope that the HC will pass a judgement in favour of the children on 23 July, 2015.
The one year cost of educating 31 children at CMS, considering as average monthly fee of Rs. 4000, of which Rs. 450 will be reimbursed by the government, comes to Rs. 12.6 lakhs. If we calculate the cost of letter addressed to me published in five newspapers at the cost it takes to place an advertisement in these newspapers it comes to more than the abovementioned amount. It is pity that Jagdish Gandhi is wasting the money of parents who are educating their children at CMS. If he had instead spent this money of the education of the 31 children in question it would have been so much better.
