During the hearing petitioner Dr Lubna Sarwath argued that the Supreme Court, had with due respect for nature and for the law, ordered and had got executed the demolition of Maradu highrises in Kerala, and that the construction inside Mamasani Kunta is not even as high as Maradu flats.
On survey it was found that Mamasani kunta water body has been fully destroyed and constructions are ongoing in the water body by M/s Phoenix Spaces Pvt. Ltd.
How do you reconcile the village maps, satellite imageries, SOI topo maps, HUDA and HMDA masterplans of Mamasani Kunta vis-a-vis the culvert identified and partially dug up that has now been obstructed by Phoenix constructions right on the inflow channel of Mamasani Kunta that further connects to the Balkapur channel.
We expect time-bound and professional handling of matters at TSIIC, MRO Gandipet, EE Irrigation, MAUD, HMDA and other officials involved in governance and grievance of this issue. A number of 4-5 days have elapsed towards resolving of this grievance.
We urge you to restore the water body at 17°24’19.03″N 78°20’46.05″E in Survey No. 288 in Puppulguda village, Rajendranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, Telangana.
